Facinelli debuted to the enthusiastic screams of fans who circled the stage and lined the mall six people deep. Others cheered and angled their cameras from the Level 2 balconies. And, so it began. Facinelli chatted briefly, but amiably with each fan that was led to the stage, sometimes stopping to wave to the crowd, always offering a hug and a handshake.
